This year my family is participating the the Walmart Walk for Miracles. We are collecting donations for the Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta. This is an important cause for us; September 12, 2008 my niece Naomi Eva Moreno was born. She was in the Royal Alexandria's NICU (part of the Stollery) for 15 days when she passed away from complications. The nurses and doctors there were absolutely wonderful, their patience is amazing. We have decided to do as much volunteer work as we can, it is our way of thanking them for all the hard work they did for us.
