Support me in the Walmart Walk For Miracles

This year my family is participating the the Walmart Walk for Miracles. We are collecting donations for the Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta. This is an important cause for us; September 12, 2008 my niece Naomi Eva Moreno was born. She was in the Royal Alexandria's NICU (part of the Stollery) for 15 days when she passed away from complications. The nurses and doctors there were absolutely wonderful, their patience is amazing. We have decided to do as much volunteer work as we can, it is our way of thanking them for all the hard work they did for us. A Birthday Invitation fit for a Princess

Well, it's been a little while since my last post; I've been a little busy this spring. I have been taking classes and volunteering and doing spring cleaning!
I did manage to sit down this past week and create some birthday invitations for a good friend of mine, her step-daughter is turning 7 this year and she loves princesses! Let me know what you think!!

Altered Window

I updated an old barn window and turned it into a piece of art! I surprised my mom with this just before Christmas this year. The wedding photos are from my wedding last September....yup, we made it one year! Yeah!! I didn't do much to the window, just cleaned the glass; I loved how rustic it was. The paper is "Grace" from Close To My Heart, and I cut the letters from the "Storybook" cricut cartridge.Enjoy!

It's Beginning to Look ALOT like Christmas

The results of our hard work have paid off.....I meant the workshop on the go hard work!

Who Loves Surprises??

I LOVE surprises!! And I love to surprise people, so I decided to plan a surprise baby shower for Fabienne at our work. We planned it so perfectly she didn't have a clue, even when I came to her desk and tied a sash around her that said "Mommy to Be"! For her shower I made a diaper cake minus the diapers. I used receiving blankets instead. I hope you love it!!

Besides the diaper cake and gift I gave Fabienne, I also made her the card shown below (Here I go using my hedgehog stamps again).I used the Close To My Heart's "Daydream" paper because it is the most girly paper in my collection.  I love babies!! I can't wait until she has her's.....psssst It's a GIRL!!! Congratulations Fabienne!

Baby Announcements

We (Fabienne, Erica and I) made these baby announcements cards with Close to My Heart's "Caboodle" paper pack and Baby Stamps. I am so happy with how they turned out. And I think all of Fabienne's family and friends will be so surprised.
